Ordered parts C2D Build - Page 3

I loved my Tuniq Tower back when I was using my E6300. I bought a swiftech water cooling kit and it was 150.00 on newegg and it's a very good quality kit IMO. It's keeping my E6600 nice and cool.

I didn't want to have to put the radiator on the outside of my case so this kit is great for me. I am planning on adding another one of there 120mm radiators to my rear exhaust fan in the near future so I can push a bit more.

Either way you go I think you would be happy. BTW I have my tuniq 120 just sitting at my house waiting a new home if you are interested.

Here's a pic of my setup since we have similar cases.

silviastud what were the temps you saw with your tuniq tower on your E6300. and how much are you looking for for your tuniq? tuniq is the one with a fan in the center right?

EDIT: plus i think im gonna go to watercooling later if i dont get the desired OC with aircooling

Here are some overclocks I had with my tuniq. I was running 3.359Ghz 24/7 at 1.375 and I wasn't loading too much over 50c if I remember right. I don't have a pic saved of full load at that clock for some reason. Also I didn't have as good of case air flow as I do no either.

If you are interested in the TT120 just pm me and we can work something out.

These were back when I had my Evga 680i and 8800GTS... Those were the days...

Those seem a bit warm considering your low vcore. DId you use the as5 vertical line method?

Here is mine at 3.2 LOAD

Well like I said in the end of my post I had really crappy case air flow and I think that was hurting me. I wasn't using the line method either.

So what are the best 80mm and 92mm case fans out there?

Deltas. I like thermaltake but they are a bit loud a2018/17/16 (18=120 17=92 16=80). SilenX is ok but expensive. silverstone FM something is also good

My Zalman HS keeps my Pentium D805 cool at 3.33ghz...I can't imagine it won't allow me to massively overclock a E6600. That, and some arctic silver and all the case fans you can load into that 182 ought to allow you to do some pretty sweet oc'ing.
