Either way, I'm definately not happy at all with the Call of Juarez or Lost Planet's performance in both online reviews and my own system. I'm just hopeing that it's simply down to immature Vista drivers from Nvidia and ATI, £200+ worth of graphics power should perform better at such low resolutions without AA and AF.

Agreed that the FPS is unacceptably low for all cards. I would hope that image quality issue will be corrected with a driver update, but none of us will know till then.

Well the 8800GTX was pretty close with the 2900XT in this game, but in LC the GTX performed 300% percent better.. 91FPS vs 31FPS if I remember correctly.

If i read that graph correctly then it showed Nvidia wining in lower resolution by 3.1 FPS while in higher resolution ATI won by only 1.5 not enough of a difference to ethier of them to really call it a win. IMO.

edit: you should change the title. its a bit broad, if you ask me.

Even so - optimization can only do so much. If the nvidia stacked bench greatly favors nvidia and the ati stacked bench is neutral things are looking bad for r600

Who wants 3Dmark scores? OK here ya go. 2900XT beating out the 8800ULTRA. And some people say the R600 is a flop. WRONG!
