Best Anti-Virus Software??? - Page 2

There's never the best for anything. Just better than one or the other.
I would recommend, NOD32, AVG, Kaspersky and Avast. Many have already said so above.

Hardware Firewall (A router) are better than software firewalls. Keep that in mind.

get AVG. I've never had a problem it couldn't fix. Also, make sure you're using a router with a firewall...that's the BIGGEST help in keeping out viruses and spyware...

Just browse smart. I never get spyware or viruses...while my brother gets them all day long looking at free porn...

Isn't that what the word "best" means... better than the rest? I don't use Nod32 so I don't know, but my friend does and absolutely raves about it. I am pretty sure I saw a bunch of anti viruses tested in some PC magazine and Nod32 came out on top... I forget where I saw it so I don't have any hard

I've never used AVG, but I do know that Avast is very easy to use and it tells you when it updates as well. Runs in the backgound and you can set it to not scan your game files (helps out when gaming)!

All have pros and cons, but Avast seems to be good all around pick

AVG doesnt do as well as it could, but lower resources.

I didn't say you did. I am just saying, there is such thing as best, it doesnt mean it's perfect, but it's still better than all others.
