Asus Stiker Problem, CPU INIT Help :(

Got my computer today, trying to boot up but no screen is coming up at all, on the back of the asus striker extreme motherboard it says CPU INIT, anyone know some simple troubleshooting to fix this?

Try re-seating the CPU. I have heard of this issue on some forums and most of the time it points to a bad Motherboard. Evidently while the striker is a greater motherboard it has a higher then usual failure rate outside the box.

I agree, your motherboard or CPU are likely to be faulty if you're unable to boot past the CPU initialisation stage, though there's a chance it could simply be the CPU overheating. Try reseating the heatsink aswell, just to be sure.
