Setting up a raid-O array in Vista --help

Hi guys.

My technical knowledge of computers is very limited and for the first time I am trying my hand at building my own pc.. My specs are as follows...

ASUS P5N32-E SLI 680 Mobo.
intel e660
EVGA 8800 gts 320 mb
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Tuniq Tower cooler
2 Seagate Barracuda 320 gb 7200.10 HD's
Windows Vista

I bought two HD's because I want to set them up in a raid-O configuration. I have realized that I need a floppy disk/drive for the raid drivers so I am going to be using my old floppy drive for that. I am going to be starting from scratch and I ask simply, how will i go about setting up this raid-o configuration?

Once I have all my components installed and the computer ready to boot for the first time, I have to go into the BIOS and enable the raid config...Then, I believe, I will need to create a floppy disk for the raid drivers (the ASUS mobo comes with a "create a disk feature" i think). Next I will boot up from the vista cd-rom with the floppy disk in the drive and press "F6" or w/e when it prompts for the raid/scsi drivers, correct? The part that I am alittle confused about is when vista starts getting involved, so any clarification/guides on this matter would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

Good looking build there however I would use different ram, such as G.Skill

And you're correct on the RAID0 setup

Go to User CP at top of page, and edit your system spcs. Welcome to OCN. Here comes the addiction...

with vista you can actually load drivers from a floppy, CD, or flash drive.
The process you describe is from XP

oh so with vista I dont even need to install the floppy drives and make a floppy disk? Are you sure, because that would save me a lot of hassle I think? Are there any guides out there for setting up a raid config in vista?

Unfortunately I already bought the parts so I cant change the ram, many people have recommended that exact same memory, but I am happy with my system as it is now. I plan on getting it to run stable for a while and then trying my hand at overclocking (I am going to need a lot of help then and will be on these forums a lot!)

if I dont need to install a FDD for the raid drivers with vista then that works out perfectly..
