This is my configuration:

AMD Athlonâ„¢ 64 3800+ Dual Core Processor
Mother Board: Gigabyte nForce4 Socket 939
Power Supply: Seasonic ATX12V 2.0 430Watt
CPU Cooling: Zalman 7000 ALCU CPU Cooler
Memory: 1 GB Dual Channel DDR PC-3200 at 400MHz (1x1024MB)
Graphics card: Gigabyte 8500 GT

I really apreciate your help with this matter and all the recomendations that you could provide. Thanks in advance.
There are plenty of online guides for overclocking an AMD64 system. My favorite recommendation is to read this. It's not short, and it may be overwhelming, but it will give you a much better base of knowledge before you dive into overclocking your system.

More knowledge = more confidence = more fun!

Hope this helps!

Thats a good guide, but not very pertinant to the AM2 socket and the newer technology. Granted I think some of the basic info is great, but alot of it is confusing for todays tech.

Well... I think that much of the material is still pertinent. It's a simple matter of substituting some numbers for voltage requirements and recalculating some of the mathematics with the RAM. Otherwise, because the architecture really hasn't changed, the material still is relevant.

Just my 2 centavos.

I guess what I'm saying is it could get confusing for someone new to overclocking.

Well... point taken.

Nevertheless, I guess I feel that, before jumping into overclocking, you still need to do some homework. I'd personally just have more information than not enough, and be responsible for filling in the blanks if my knowledge isn't complete. But that's just me.

Still, I see the validity of your point.

Understood. First some homework, then questions.
