im doing clean install of windows then hopfully it will work!!! and i tryed 2 phone asus 4 help and its **** it just tells you to go online sooo sooo soo angry

ok i got the sound going i looked at my hardware for the ethernet all it says i have installed is
1394 net adapter
sould i have anymore???

yes that is for the firewire, the lan or ethernet adaptrs are on the cd man

do you have the original driver cd? if so install the driver suite

If not go to www.asus.com to the downloads section and dload the drivers

Yes. use the CD that came with the motherboard.

You'll need to install the drivers !

Otherwise, show me the Device Manager.
