I know for a fact that EVGA US did not really care and most of the guys here laughed at it, BTW.
For the last time, they DID NOT USE THEIR LOGO. Me writing Apple in block text on a box does not constitute using a 'logo'. Placing a carbon copy of their Apple on my box is using their logo.

At best they could claim I was using a TRADEMARK

I wasn't even aware that eVGA had a logo.

Whoop-dee-doo, four letters.

You can't trademark letters anyway.

Click on the link, and then go to evga.com. That is THE EVGA logo. It's the exact same writing. I will say it again; that is the TRADEMARKED LOGO. I can't believe you people...saying "oh it's just block letters" or "it's not the logo, just writing and you can't trademark writing".

I totally agree with that. Artwork that demands attention slightly repulses me, rather than attracting me.

I love eVGA for the warranty, and the price.

I got sick of the runaround, and considering that I earn a pretty good hourly wage, spending much more than an hour or two on the phone for a $30 rebate actually begins to cost me money instead of save it. I have had nothing but awful luck with rebates, and have pretty much become convinced that they are nothing but a scam, oftentimes costing more in wasted time to receive them than to just buy a product without. It seems to be standard policy for companies to automatically process rebates as invalid until you try to fight them. I will not buy ANY product with a rebate now as a personal rule.

The card was not lost by UPS, it was lost internally. It showed delivered, but they had no record in receiving. By the time they finally got my card to enter into the system, they were going to have to reapprove, etc., costing even more time. I told them to forget the step-up, and send my card back. I got it a few days later, and sold it to upgrade to a different brand.

I have heard almost nothing but good about EVGA as well so I guess I just have had bad luck
Pretty sure for a while there, you had to register the card online(both for rebates and the lifetime warranty). Sucks that you got jibbed out of your money.

My experience with Mushkin(as a company) was worse though; they just completely ignored my emails, from various addresses! Hard to sort out rebate problems when you send an email, and that's it - that's all that happens.

Tech support was awful too, and not at all a help. After finally figuring out that my memory was incompatible with my board, I had to send the memory back and trade up, but swallowed a $30 MIR loss on the return.

I have never seen an eVGA logo that looked remotely like what's in the stupid dog spit. Quit being a tease and host the picture and post it.

Yeah, only cool companies infringe copyright agreements.

And for those who "don't see" the logo...

It's not in the EVGA font and its just letters. EVGA SUCKS DONKEY EARS!!! OMG sue me! We all know what was intended, and despite legalities, I think EVGA has read too many news stories on MS and their 250 some odd patents.

I don't care about the legalities, to me they look like a bunch of freaking tards for raising such a stink. I think they make a good enough product that they don't need to stoop to this level to begin with. This just shows that they went beyond being successful to being looser pricks, thus they lost my next purchase. Yes, I am that simple minded and I don't need to defend it to anyone.

eVGA is starting to sound like AMD.

What a shame, next time I'm getting me an XFX, that's for sure.

Anybody wants to buy an 8800 GTX for $490? I need an XFX, this brand I have currently blows, I'm gonna go for the non-cry baby. Reminds me of the competition that Intel has......
