I have always liked creative players over apple players except for Itunes

Itunes is my favorite music program ever and I love how Ipods update

Creative makes such high-quality products at, in this case, a fraction of the price.

Creative has an awesome customer service, too... while Apple pretty much charges for everything.

Creative FTW!!!!
Oh man.

I owned an Ipod Photo for a long while...well...I went and got a video shortly after they came out and returned it because it was a little screwy and I tried out the Creative Zen Vision M since people were raving on how much "better" it is. Updated it...finally got all my music on it.

Two weeks later I realised its a peice, went back to Circuit City, got a new video and gave the Vision M too my mom. I kid you not. I don't know if I am crazy, but I just love the video a lot more. It's smaller, it's built really well, and heck, I love Itunes (I don't download any music at all...get it all off CD's I buy...so).

My sister also had a smaller version of the creative vision M....not sure what it was called, but I also thought it was crap compared too my photo. She ended up tossing it and bought my photo off me for a small fee.

IMO, all the people who bash the iPod just cant comprehend the fact that the fact that the iPod is in fact a better product then the Creative Zen Vision M.

Thats just my 2c though. [/rant]

EDIT: and fad or not, I for one know Apple is doing somthing right with these products. Also, after reading the thread a little more...I realised that people were complaining about the circle wheel on the iPods....wow....I love the control scheme and didn't think that the Vision M's matched up. Perhaps you're just slow or somthing, but I can get to the bottom of my artist list (I have well over 14gigs of music on the thing) in a split second.

EDIT AGAIN: I would have to say though, I think I did like the screen on the Vision M a little better. I couldn't tell you why...but I don't sit there and stare at my MP3 player...it's in my pocket 99% of the time...and every once in a while I pull it out to watch a Southpark episode, which still looks fantastic on the iPod so...

But perhaps for those portable video enthusiasts...the Vision M>iPod...but do some research and you will find there are devices that far surpass the Vision M as a portable digital video player...

I love my iPod. I love how it synchs with iTunes (but I'm starting to mess with foobar, so I'll probably be switching over to that). I love how it looks, how it feels, how it sounds, and how it operates.

I'm really not a fan of the Vision:M, it's big and clunky and feels cheap. The Zune's one kickass piece of equipment, though.

Yah - cuz no other mp3 player can sync with your comp

I love when people extol their w/e's (esp. mp3 player's) features when every single competing product does the same thing.

IMO people who unconditionally love their stuff are funnier than people who detest it

Wait....what?

What does "every single competing product" have?

Nah i think Creative is better quality than Ipod...remember the first nanos which came out..they broke like no tomorrow. My Microphoto on the other hand has dropped on the hard ground many many times but still continues to rock. Yes they are thicker but atleast you know youve got something in your pocket..Try putting a nano in you back pocket and sitting down..cracked nano...the creatives are more robust.

Looks familiar

It's alot cheaper than the iPod shuffle though. Coming in at just £27.99\\$39.99 for 1GB.

Apple could have a serious competitor on their hands.
What a piece of crap!

No screen, no FM and no voice recording! Crap I tell ya, crap!

"Measuring 2.1 inches by 1.3 inches by 0.4 inch, the Zen Stone is noticeably larger than the iPod Shuffle, and it lacks the handy clip found on the Apple player. Instead, there's a lanyard loop built into the left edge. You'll have to supply your own lanyard, though"

http://review.zdnet.com/mp3-players/...-32434996.html

At least it isn't a blantant ripoff of Apple!

Nice try, next! Oh, wait till Microsucks copies the shuffle. Apple will be in soooooo much trouble.
