Are we STILL on this?

The numbers are so close, and it's because things aren't quad-threaded. And the frames you gained, are insignificant in video games, you would be ill-informed if you picked the E6850. Unless you do benchmarks for a living, youo're better off with a quad core, games like Crysis, Alan Wake, Starcraft 2 are just around the corner. People with quad core would be able to take full advantage of extra features while you're playing with the extra 5 frames.

Edit: I decided to read some of that site, and it said what I said. Direct quote in their conclusion segment

"Little to no performance difference when compared to dual core processors running the same speed"

So why not just go quad and have those extra features? *shrug*

At this point, wait till Q9450. If you want a Q6600 G0, they'll be like $150-$175 in Jan when all the "Q6600 future proofers" dump theirs for Q9450.
