Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme is currently the best air cooler on the market by a few degrees. So if you're willing to pay $60 for the best then you won't be let down.

bang for buck the Zalman CNPS9700 NT CPU Cooler, Pure Copper Heatsink is sopposed to be the best un modded cooler on the market. I was going to go with Thermalright ultra 120 til I saw a computer running a QX6800 cpu and clocked to 3.6ghz running the Zalman and cpu temps never went over 38c

I have the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme, and I must say I am pleasantly impressed. It keeps temps a few degrees lower without a fan (FM121s are on their way) than my Scythe Ninja did with two Thunderblades in a push-pull config. Plus, it looks awesome.

Best bang for your buck? The Zalman on average costs $10 more than the Ultra-120 Extreme and it performs worse.

Saw a review that said if i mounted 2 fans on the infinity, it could perform well. So should i geth the scythe or the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme. And what makes the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme so special doesn't "look" very powerful on the outside?

The Ultra 120-Extreme has, what, 6 heat pipes? Transferring heat to the fins is no problem for that thing.

But as for my choice, TR Ultra 120 Extreme, Tuniq, or TTBT.
