Okay sounds like everyones recommending the thermalright but juz wanna ask if the infinity would beat the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme if it had 2 fans mounted instead of one?

Heres a review
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coo...scythe_12.html

Sadly it doesnt include the thermalright

The Scythe Infinity, even with two fans, is probably the worst performing HSF out of the four you listed. And you can't judge a HSF's cooling capacity by its looks. Read any review on the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme and most, if not all, will say that it is the best air cooler they have ever reviewed.

For starters, look at these reviews: One by Anandtech, one by someone at Xtremesystems, and one by someone at Tom's Hardware forums.

BIG TYPHOON

it is good because you can modd it. Especially with the silverstone fm101

I believe you can mount 2 fans on it.

For the best cooling you can put these 230cfm delta fans on it.

I believe you can mount 2 on it.

check out the air flow of your case, pick a heat sink that will complement that, as well as being a good overall heatsink

Personally, I'd avoid putting anything too heavy off the CPU socket mechanism, AFAIK the Typhoon is way heavier than the Thermalright 120 series of HSF, heatpipes FTW!

Still too heavy to mount off the standard heatsink retention mechanism IMHO, at least the Ultra-120 has a through-mobo mounting bracket

Not a real fan of heavy heatsinks, especially since motherboard manufacturer's have gone RoHS (lead free design) as the solder now used doesn't flex near as forgivingly as lead based
