OC E6600 at low voltages

Thread Starter
I'd like to overclock my e6600 at lowest voltages possible. I remember overclocking to a little over 3.0ghz, and voltages were close to the "max" 1.35. As this computer is to serve me for the next 5-ish years, I'd like it to last as long as possible, but get the most out of it.

What voltage do you recommend for, say 3.0ghz?

I run my E6600 at 3.15GHz 24/7 at 1.25v. It's fully stable.

1.25v? I'm at 1.28v with my E6400 at 3.150. Time to lower vcore!

I'm using 1.192v at 3.0GHz right now.
Voltage increases to 1.216v while on idle (2.0GHz), according to CPU-z.
I had been using around 1.2v (the bios's auto voltage) while on stock (2.4GHz)... kinda weird.

(I set vcore voltage to 1.25 in my BIOS)

Thanks for the replies. I was unsure what voltage to start experimenting with.
