zalman vf1000 out in Europe - Page 3

that means it is going to be around 50-60 bucks,
that is so expensive for a vga cooler.
Even though Zalman always have a higher retail price than other brand.

How is that heat sink any better then the Thermalright HR-03 Plus +120mm fan?

I might be mistaken, but isn't the HR-03 Plus requiring a separate fan ?

If that's the case then it might well be an advantage if buying that new Zalman model, no need for a fan after you get the cooling solution, it's already there. It might be a different story, better, or worse, in terms of actual cooling efficiency, but Zalman has been good for me for my previous card, which was a Radeon X1800XL, and I used a VF-700 ALCu LED, which always maintained the card after a good OC below 65ºC full load during hot summer days (while the default solution would easily go as high as 80ºC at the same OC'ed speed, and at around 75ºC stock speed).

Anyhow, is that VF-1000 compatible with the GTS model ? Or just GTX ?
