Also another option is installing 98SE, then upgrading it to 2000. Your disk is probally fine, the boot sector just isn't made properally (if at all); therefore I see no complications with an upgrade install.

As for the disk, it seems it was not burned properally, so it will not be able to boot. If you still have the image it was made from, you might be able to go back and try again.

Nero in my experiance has this problem where it will not make the disk bootable. I like to use alcohol 120% for burning disks, it does a great job.
ya, i was thinking about that but 98 doesnt like anymore then 512mb ram

If it won't install, just take a stick out to get it installed. You only need it installed enough to upgrade it to windows2000. You can add the RAM back once 2000 has copied it's files (my suggestion would be when it restarts, power the PC off and add the ram back).

If 98 does install without chaning your ram, don't worry about it and just run the windows2000 install from it once it is installed
