7950GT - Help and Overclocking - Page 3

no, sorry

BTW - I think 3DMark may be a little misleading - the 256 MB versions clock higher than the 512 Mb versions - ie mine came stock at 580 MHz and runs at 630 MHz (Core) on stock volts with stock cooling (although its on water now it hasn't helped at all)

I'd suggest you run your bench through 3DMark2006.

I just finished setting up a Stock Intel P4 Heat sink on my 7900GS lol

It doesn't like Aquamark 3 or 3DMark 01 (gives me low scores) but so what

I've been using 3DMark 05 and have started overclocking already

My scores:

3379: AMD 3000+ @ 1800mhz + 6600GT [stock, 500/500]

7946: AMD 3700+ @ 2200mhz + 7950GT [578/722]

8755: AMD 3700+ @ 2500mhz (250x10) + 7950GT [578/722]

8968: AMD 3700+ @ 2500mhz (250x10) + 7950GT [637/702] - don't ask me how I got 637mhz core

9039: AMD 3700+ @ 2500mhz (250x10) + 7950GT [604/801]

All those speeds (apart from the 637mhz, don't have a clue what happened there) are stable (i.e. 10 mins+ in ATiTool)

Looking good?
Nice job chap!

My best:

684/857.3 Mhz

12,160 3dMark05
