Thanks kindredice mate, but i believe the answer is the pci-e in the bios needs to be higher. In fact changing the setting to 115, i am having no more problems.

You remember you said that too high settings can damage components? Well I found info on xtremesystem's forum, saying that upto 120 is fine...any higher is dangerous:-
