Dells running hot?

Thread Starter
I owned a Dell Inspiron four years back. It was a sweat hog, running 10 degrees warmer on average than other notebooks at the time. Today I'm looking at purchasing a Dell Latitude D820 to replace my aging ASUS and I have one question: does the D820 have heat issues? How about other Dell lappys? Where can I find heat measurements of different brand laptops?

The Dell Inspiron's of that time had many heat issues. I believed they fixed this now though.

My Inpiron 1100 wouldn't do anything until I put some new thermal grease on it, so if you run into that problem again, just wipe it off with Rubbing Alchohol and Reapply.

Edit:
Oh, and please fill out your system specs, they will help us help you better.
