Corsair HX 520w- How powerful is it?

Thread Starter
I have this PSU and I'd just like to know if I will have to get a new one for my next upgrade.

Next upgrade: Either 1 8800gtx or 2 8800gts's, a quad core processor, and a WC setup. I plan to OC everything.

Thanks.

Powerful enough... the C2D/Q shouldn't pull more than 190w... meaning 15a on the powersupply, while the 2 GTS'es shoudln't pull more than 8a each... so you still have quite a bit headroom

PS. amps mentioned are on the 12v line.

520W may be pushing it. I'm afraid you'd need at least 600W minimum for that and a great 610W PSU is right around the corner: PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W for $149.

The only 520W PSU I trust it's the OCZ PowerStream, other than that? None.
