the only difference is the lack of media center, but otherwise its perfectly fine, i like it a lot, it was the only os that sony offered with my laptop so i was like w/e, but unless you intend to use media center (waste of time imo) its got everything else...

can you not dl media center from their website and load it on? or does it have a block against having it on the OS?

im not sure, i dont think so, but i def. do not think the media center is worth the price difference ($100+) for another version. you dont loose any functionality, just the fancy blue background thing that shows u ur photos even though you can view photos using photo/fax viewer or w/e

ur choice tho

maybe just get the business edition for $10 and if u really feel like u need media center just get the other edition, ur only out $10 and could potentially save over 100..

Dual boot if you have any specialized applications that will not run in Vista or if you are unsure. I am dualbooting because a VOIP app is not Vista-compatible yet. I am pretty sure HLL2 runs in Vista fine.
Once again...
