Ethernet Card/Mobo Ethernet problem.

Thread Starter
I am experiencing a couple of problems here. Firstly, I just noticed that my current ethernet card has an outdated driver. It is a Linksys NC100 Fast Ethernet Adapter, and I'm having a hard time locating a driver for it. I have found a few old versions, none of which support Windows XP.

Secondly, my motherboard's (Asus A8N-SLI) lan port is not currently working. I reset my modem after I tried it and attempted to create a new internet connection for it. I was given a message saying that my internet should already be connected properly, or something along those lines. Any useful information is appreciated, thanks.

Here is the download page for your adapter:NC100

It's sounds like you may have to redo the enternet conection wizard; before you try that reboot your modem. (and router if one is being used) Sometimes that will fix things for me.

I've basically decided that its impossible to update the driver to my NC100, I cannot get it to work. Also, what is this ethernet connection wizard, I've never heard of it. Also, I do not have a router or hub, I am directly connected. I am also running XP pro sp2 if that helps.
