i was using an ASRock P4i65G the only thing i could change was the FSB and RAM multiplyer.

it had no Voltage options.

i was using a Zalman 9500 cpu cooler.

This won't work. HP P4 = OEM = Locked and unoverclockable. I know because i'm on one right now.

hp cant lock the cpu they only lock the motherboards not giving overclock options in bios so on you get a new board you can overclock with decent cooling.

However some HP's Have ASUS boards and if you could BIOS flash............

yeah my board was an ASUS P5LP-LE

i messed up the pins on the socket and it wouldn't boot after that. I think one came out. It sucks because that was a pretty nice board. I don't think they had a BIOS i could flash to it because i looked around for stuff like that for almost a year [that was before i came here though...]
