HD TV Support

OK, another rookie question...I love this place...

How can I get my Ati x1950xt AGp to display best (quality and sizing) on a Toshiba HD (720 native?) 1080I CRT tv?

Currently I have an S-video plugged into the TV and I can get the desktop up but it looks crappy and is missing the edges all around...I tryed several res's from 800*600 up to 1280*1024...all left something missing.

I am using Ati tray tools 1.0. (also, CC installed).

Do I really need a DVI HDMI cable? Is there a way to modify the res to fit my screen...

or where can I find out more.
Thanks, I love this place.

Does your TV have component cables? If so, use the dongle that came with your x1950 and connect it using component.
