PSH NO! Honestly i wouldn't trust the windows firewall no matter what. I would wait until what ever firewall you used in XP came out with a vista version. WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT BUY NORTON!!!

I'm not sure if you've tried the firewall in Vista. it's better than XP firewall and it's more easily to use.

Best firewall = Hardware's firewall = Router.

Software firewall is a just secondary wall to me.

Ditto. Get a D-Link router for $50 and disable the software firewall.

Not a great idea. Unsophisticated kidi-hackers may have problems with a router but it won't stop anyone with some skill. A router with a software firewall of any kind is good stuff.

well any firewall will help

Although don't have more then one firewall as they can interfere.

It's decent but not good against serious hackers.

A third party will always be better.

My friend once had 5 firewalls.....
