Q6600 on eVGA 680i...

So Wednesday my Q6600 will arrive. I heard a few things about them that I'd like to make sure of; firstly of the motherboard; is it capped at 450 fsb? And if I'm correct the processor runs on a 9x multiplier... So... I suppose unless I'm liquid cooling this thing I shouldn't have a problem reaching a suitable clock. Hopefully 3.2 or so isn't out of the question.

Secondly, I'm gonna be running this with a 9700LED in a Stacker 830 Evolution (4 side 39 cfm fans, one front 85 cfm, and one 90 cfm exhaust), what temperatures should I be expecting, as I think I heard they run rather hotter than most?

I'm not expecting a huge performance difference (Probably none) to my 3.5 E6420, but I donated it to a friend who couldn't afford a processor, so I decided to dish out for the quad since there was no point in half assing it even though I know I'll regret it when I see the $266 price tag soon. I needed it quickly though.

3.2 is reachable on that cooler

Only get a performance boost on multithreaded programs

They run hotter due to the 4 cores (on load) idle they are fairly cool

Awesome. And what about game performance? I heard that somehow the Q6600 was inferior to the E6600 even at the same clock speed, though it can handle more load at once. Any details there?
