What wii game to get?

Thread Starter
I just got a Wii for my birthday!
Anyway, my wife also is giving me a game, but she didn't know what I wanted so I can go pick one out now! I need a suggestion on what would be a good game. I thought about the new Zelda, or Wariowares, so what's a good game that would be fun and possibly multiplayer? Something that would keep me entertained single-player would be good too though. Anyway, give me your suggestions, why, etc!

Mario Party 8 comes out on the 29th. Until then, I say Super Paper Mario or Zelda for single player, and Warioware for multiplayer.

Ok, forgot to mention this, but for now I only have one controller + nunchuck. So turn-based multiplayer is the only possible form atm. How is paper mario for multiplayer in that respect? And Warioware?

Paper mario is a one person game i believe... but with one controller, you can just trade it around every so often... no biggie...

Super Paper Mario is only single player. Warioware is a super-fun-fight-fantastic multiplayer. It goes by really fast, but is always fun.

Warioware uses one controller for multiplayer..

Get Zelda + Mario Party 8

For single player, Zelda is an obvious choice. I'm enjoying it a lot...but then again, I've been enjoying Zelda since the NES days.

For your multiplayer, first don't overlook the Wii Sports that came with it. Bowling is fun as heck for multiplayer.

WarioWare is supposed to be good, and I think Rayman Raving Rabids is another good mini-game style game. Only one controller needed. Mario Party 8 will require multiple controllers, but you should really have at least two controllers anyway. It makes even games like Bowling easier when you're not constantly passing a single controller around.

I agree. The bowling is kickass.

Try your wii sports, if you think that can keep you entertained for a while go buy wii play. It will give you a couple more fun games and another remote.
