Dreaming Of A Better PC...

Thread Starter

Hi

I've been around PCs for a long time and have only ever purchased sub £300 systems - I thought it was about time I treated myself and had a little fun.

Below is my wish list - maybe by the time I can afford all the components it'll be a sub £300 system

Intel Core 2 Duo E4300
Asus P5N32-E SLI NF680i SLI
2 x 2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800)
600W CoolerMaster iGreen Power SLi
2 x 256MB Leadtek 8500GT, PCI-E (x16), Mem 800 MHz, GPU 490 MHz
Xclio A380 SuperTower Silver with 25cm Front & Side Super Cooling Fans
Asus V60 Silent Heat Pipe Cooler

I look forward to reading many reviews and having my eyes opened to the world of overclocking

Later...

Welcome.. I wouldn't get 2x 8500GT, just go with a 320mb 8800GTS. IMHO, its not worth going SLI with the lower end 8 series.

get a 8600 (same price more performance). I had a thread about that and it was voted that a single 8600 was better

Otherwise WELCOME
