Sounds like you're going for a pure gaming laptop.. Goto Killernotebooks.com. Mark will hook you up in a way no other can. But bring your checkbook... it won't cost as much as a alienware rig, or as little as the Dell... but it will outperform both without working up much of a sweat.

People will slam it for expensive... but keep in mind, no one else is going custom on these things. Here's the gpu cooler on a 7950GTX (stock is the top one). He also mods the base cover for cooling and will warranty an overclock.

For whatever reason, reviewers miss things like this... and also miss that Dell underclocks it's 7950GTX

thats why you overclock it.... and my 7950gtx has its pipes seperated, that design looks kinda stupid cause the pipes are so close, in meanin keeping more heat.

get a e1705, get the 7950gtx and a t7600, you will not regret it, dont get a laptop with 3 year old gfx's..cause we talk about the 7950gtx being so great but its almost out dated itself.

Okay Okay, enough.

steve00ses, you need to edit your post immediately.

Dell-Hater, you need to stick to providing logical information.

The lack of maturity shines in both of you.

Actually, I'm disappointed. The 8600M GT hasn't benched as high as the 7950GTX (or even the 7800 GTX). It's comparable to a 7600. You'll have to wait a bit longer until the second generation 8000 cards come out.
