PS3 cooling decisions !

Well My room isnt the coolest in the world and when Folding my PS3 can kick out abit of heat, Not enough to get me insanely worried however I would rather take steps to keep it a little cooler rather than kill my PS3 thats costs £425.

However I have come up with these few products. Now im not all too sure which one will be more sensible in the long run ....Ill list them and if you people could suggest which one would be better and perhaps why that would be splendid !

Due to the fact these coolers attach to either the back or front im wondering where the best place to put one would be !

1. Double Cooling Cooler Fan Pad Sony PS3 Playstation 3 UK

( Good looking however fans arnt covered thus dust intake may increase )

2.Brand New Playstation 3 PS3 Intercooler Air Cooling Fan

( 4 fans so could be a nice cooler )

3.2 Smart Centrifugal Cooling Fan For PlayStation 3 PS3

( Nice and out of view, However not sure of its cooling capabilities. )

Now I know someone will mention the up coming Nyko Intercooler , but no thanks , Im not increaseing the size of my PS3 by a few inches .

I will appreciate any help on this and suggestions.

I want to FOLD alot for OCN, the PS3 is my best choice compared to my RIG.

**EDIT**

Oh just found this also

Fusion Cooling Fan (PS3)

Below is a pic..the red lines is the representation of heat that leaves the side vents.

something like that would do the job

But seriously, id stay away from the coolers that plug into the back or whatever, some of the xbox 360 ones are really loud and actually make it hotter.

depends how much money you have to burn, you could always cut a hole in the side and thermal tape a zalman fatality to it. now that would be cool.

you could get an old psu to power some fans (80,120,92mm) and position them for airflow, or if the ps3 is in a cabinet, cut a couple of holes in the back and screw 2 12cm fans to it.. could work quite easily. the psu can then be used for powering anything 12 volt you have also.

just an idea (an awesome one imo)

When did i mention doing anything to the ps3? use an old pc psu to power the fans, the 12volt rail would power anything 12v you have.

you could velcro the fans to the cabinet (if its in one) to get more airflow.

the zalman was a joke, but it would be cool to see it done professionally
