LCD vs Plasma

Thread Starter
I was in Best Buy the other day, comparing LCD to Plasma TV sets. I can say that LCD clearly looked better. The plasma TVs seemed to all suffer from blocky looking pixels, resulting in a jagged appearance. The LCD TVs offered a much smoother, cleaner picture while still maintaining sharpness. Not to mention the Plasmas give off an annoying hum.

But the real winner surprised me. DLP TVs. Of those that were of sufficient brightness, the image quality surpassed both LCD and Plasma. I certainly wasnt expecting that.

What size screens? Plasma beats LCD at larger sizes since LCDs can't get that large.
Once again...

a few months ago me and my dad were looking for a tv to buy and we spent a lot of time looking for a good one... my dad has some friends who own some big stores who sell electronics and all and they told him about HD-ILA... JVC was the first brand to make TVs like that... so we checked it out and it was incredibly clear. Sony then realised how good HD-ILA is and is now making TVs like that... i know have a 61" HD-ILA JVC and when u play ps3 on that its breathtaking
It sucks I know
