Brass is just a mixture of copper and zinc, so you're OK with that in the loop.

I can personally attest to the MCRES micro. I have one and it rocks the world...

Also, the fill syringe is not necessary as the MCRES comes with a funnel...

Also, I would go with a Petra MCP355 w/petra top. It performs better than the MCP655, and has more head I believe....

I really like them for topping off my res...You can add just a tiny bit at a time...Plus you can suck it back up in it when it starts overflowing...

I would wait a lil for the 2900 Wb, because when it comes it will likely be around 150 bucks+....

No Man they are not loud at all...At least to me I've held them right next to my ear and not been able to hear it...I have 2 of them in my case and I cant hear them...I have heard a few guys say they had a high pitched whine but I've never heard it and I hate high pitched noises...
