Help not sure if my memory is being used to its full potential

Thread Starter
Okay this is the RAM I have and I just built my first rig, I am not too good with BIOS settings so I ran CPU-Z and this is what it says for my memory, I don't think its being run to its full potential so if anyone could let me know how to fix this that would be great.

go to the memory tab instead, that's what we need to see. Not the spd tab.

it isn't

The mem is rated for ddr2 800 but is being run at ddr2 400

That gives you overclocking headroom and with ddr2 overrted memory is normal. The way to get around this is too lower the timings (to gain performance but you will lose some ,in your case unused, bandwith). As far as timings go just mess around and stress test your ram

hope this helps
