Uh no actually you cannot...but I would love to find them at a good price somewhere...

Thanks for all the props guys--it feels great to be modding again--I was about to lose my mind--but now I guess I can hang on another few days

Just now ordered the 750 Watter from Newegg and 4 Sunbeam controllers from Frozen CPU so I should be able to make a few of these by the end of the week--now to get me some face frames!

Me too

These cases are gonna be heavy...

I have 4 Raptors in there and I plan to add a pair of Cheetah SCSI drives just for laughs. Maybe I should look into some wheels...

tesla coils

Check it out--I am going to build an exact clone of this rig--I just bought another Fatal1ty AA8XE/RAM/CPU from my friend "KnightHawk" from the Abit forum.

IMO this so-called obsolete board is way more fun than I have had in ages...not since I clocked my s478 P4 3.0e to 4205 stable and Folding!

This combo is unflinching at 4171...runs right up there like nothing...I was running Orthos at 4075 but the sys got a lil hot. Having already killed one of these rigs I am a little cautious about doing it in the first night.

Anyway it has awesome RAID performance and tops any onboard RAID I have built yet--which is really all I care about--I love really fast reponse when messing with graphics and moving large files around. I might even break off a pair of Raptors for the clone. I already have a matching X1950pro...I could skip the X-fi for now and still build a gorgeous rig to sell later on...no doubt I could scale back on the PSU a tad...as this rig draws less than 500 watts on full load.May substitute a Silverstone or Seasonic in the $150 price range...

I know it may seem odd to put an outdatedboard up on a throne--but to me hardware is terminally outdated--even the 8800 Ultra will one day soon be eclipsed..so why blow $1500 on GFX and $1000 on a CPU and $500 on a PSU and $300 on a board and $300 on RAM just to hang out posting on OverClock.net and uploading pictures...ad long as it is blazing fast at desktop and allows me to run a huge monitor and play some games once in a while I am more than satisfied.

If someone just wants the case--I would then have a perfect back up rig to replace my new daily driver.

I am going to see how Vista loads up on the Second RAID array and try out a dual boot rig for a bit...once I decide if I can handle VIsta I will start loading up the SW and atchived files...

I have been using Claw for about a year now and it's not somuch that Claw is getting slower--it's just the rigs I ambuilding are so much faster it makes it's kinda tedious to drag along waiting for stuff to load and thumbnails to appear and all that...

I generally keep the OC on my Daily Driver very mild--with an eye to longevity--but I kinda learned my some AMD with that CLawhammer andnow it's not entirely undamaged is my guess...

It would be great to have a rig that zooms along well at near stock speed with no signs of instability. And htat wouldbe this one.

Wow that isn't even a mod man.
That is a design. You redesigned the whole case... just about the only thing left is the frame. It is crazy good.

So this build is just for you / fun? Or is that one of the cases you are trying to sell?

And i used to have a fatal1ty board. It was my first motherboard i ever bought for my own pc build. Was a good board, but i could never overclock, i was like 13 when i got it and my parents absolutely refused to let me build it if they payed for it. I sold it to my friend for extremely cheap not to long ago, if i knew you loved it so much at the time i woulda sold it to you for cheap!

If this is the caliber of your work while building your mod shop, i can't wait to see what happens when you have a real shop...

Thanks man.

Yeah I did that off sawhorses in the front lawn using basic power tools

A proper bench, even, would be an improvement...at least it didn't start raining until I was done

Been a busy busy night buying things. Now it's time to get off this darned keyboard and go make some stuff happen!
