3D Chrome Letters

Thread Starter
Does anyone know where I can pick up 3D chrome letters that are small. I want to name my PC Mod in small chrome letters. I tried Westlake and True Value hardware. Hobby Lobby, Joanns, and Michaels Crafts. I even tried Lowes and Home Depot Stores and I cant seem to find them. It seems like you can order them online for 6 letters is like 30 bucks. Was looking for something a bit cheaper? Any ideas?

cut them out of some sheet metal then put stand-offs on them and put lights behide them. you'd get a cool glowing letter look

I've been using "Chrome" paint lately to achieve a chromed effect, with very nice results. For 5 or 6 bucks for a can, you can save lots of money spraying your own letters that way. You can proibably even find a small can of it, at Michaels or True Value for cheaper.

Good ideas, but if a person wanted to buy the 3D stickers, just to make their life a little easier, doese anyone know where I could purchase them at? Thank you to all who responded with advice. I really like bobcools idea but didnt wanna go through the trouble of connecting led lights or cutting my own letters. Never tried it before so it would pobably look like hell.

Check the lettering from the back of any Ford, I don't know what they style yours with over there (I don't think you put any decal on the back of US cars, and I didnt pay attention when I was over ther last). Ford letter are roughly 1" high, and probably 4-5mm deep so they wont sit flush.

Try it out if no joy, else some sort of badge/decor place.
(struggling for ideas for premade lettering)
