Quad Folding Help

ok im back into folding again with a Quad, i want to set it up so all 4 cores are folding 1 wu. this will be the braun of my new farm, also going to start folding on my quad cpu servers. should 16 cores running by end of the month.

just use the smp client, it will see all 4 cores and use them all for one wu

yup and you get some really nice points

something like 1700 points per wu, around there somewhere. But each has like a 4 day deadline, but shouldn't be a problem with a quad, should go flying through them.

If you are using windows SMP, you will be fine running just one client. If you go with VMWare, you will need to run 2 clients and set there affinity correctly because VMWare will only use 2 cpus efficiently.

I prefer Native Linux, but do run a few Windows SMP where the system is needed for other tasks as well.
