You've probably got most of your settings on Auto. This would explain why the memory clock drops down to that divider when you increase HT ("FSB") frequency.

Finding the correct memory configuration is possibly the most challenging part of overclocking on an AMD64 system. You have to do a modicum of mathematical calculations so that you don't go beyond your components' capabilities.

I suggest you do some homework as well and read up on AMD64 overclocking before proceeding further. I suppose someone could just get someone else's settings, but there's no guarantee they'll work for you; nor would you have any clue why they didn't work.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

I had the same issue trying to OC my X2 3800+ on my A8N32-sli and I read that atricle that txtmstrjoe mentioned and I was able to overcome my little hump and get an extra 253MHZ out of my CPU
