It should take around a quart so you might want to get 2 bottles....

You will definitely need more than one bottle. All I have in my loop is the cpu and I used a whole bottle.

this stuff is expensive...maybe i should use distilled water and some dye....i like the fluid xp because of the whole non-conductive thing....do they make a dye that also prohibits algae and corrosion ?

I use distilled water and 1:9 ratio of Pentosin G11 (corrosion protection) and a few drops of PT Nuke Biocide.

http://www.petrastechshop.com/peg11coadb4o.html
UV Reactive Pentosin G11 Coolant Additive (Blue) - 4oz.

Petra'sTech "PT_Nuke" Concentrated Biocide (10mL)

Works well and looks great.

but, common sense says better safe than sorry eh?

Yeah thats what I use to..With the UV in it you can use a little 4" UV cold cathode to check for leaks..Even the little weepy ones will shine...

To every 40 ounces of the above I add a 1.5 ounce's of glycerin...You can get it at any drug store in a 4 ounce bottle for a couple of bucks..It helps the thermal transfer of the water...Then I add 2 drops of dish-washing liquid it breaks the surface tension of the water and helps it cool a little better...
