RRRrrr...need a VID pin mod for a 1.4v Celeron!

Ok, here's kind of a mouthful, so brace yourself...

My OC is currently limited by the fact that the usb on my mobo doesn't like a high pci/vlink (whatever it's connectd to) speed, so I'm stuck at a fsb of 143. It is stable at 160, and has posted at 175, but I'm stuck at 143!! I've been reading around and have seen that the system divider on this board switches over to the 200 MHz divider at 184 MHz. That would put my CPU at 3.8 GHz. Doable with my cooling?...who knows, but it's worth a shot. I just need to kick the vcore up a couple notches.

The next problem is that my mobo doesn't have any vcore adjustments. I have been pointed to this guide in another thread.

So I picked up a conductive pen, and even lapped the IHS and my cpu cooler ahead of time in great anticipation. After measuring the vcore on the mobo, it came up ~1.375, so I pin modded it to 1.525v per the vrzone guide, and... still stock volts! I ended up trying mods for all the default voltages that were anywhere near what my vcore was measuring, and still no results.

So I started testing for continuity accross the contacts on the cpu that were being bridged/blocked in the guide, and concluded that:
A. I was bridging connections that were already connected and blocking connections that were already disconnected.
B. my default VID must then be 1.4v.
Some scrounging around on google confirmed that all Prescott Celerons have a VID of 1.4v, but, unfortunately, the guide does not have any mods for a 1.4v default CPU.

So...the question is, Is there a pin mod to change the VID for 1.4v cpus, or am I just screwed? I spent a couple hours doing the best lapping job I've ever done on a crap cpu that's not going to do me any good, unless I can get a decent overclock, which, on my board, is going to be either 3.01 or 3.88 and nothing in between. 3.01 aint good enough...and 3.88 is kind of a long shot, but most definitely impossible without a couple extra .1v's.

I want to just get an 805 anyway, but I hate being held back by these little details... I'd be in the same boat with an 805, but at least the pin mod will work, and 3.8 is much more likely on them.

Ok, turns out I was modding the wrong corner of the cpu! The diagram had the triangle in the wrong corner.

Anyway, got it to 1.55v, and OC'ing is crap anyway...oh well. Would post at 175 and boot at 166 (wasn't quite right, though). Not really much better than stock.
