I would shrink the partition to at least 145gb, so you have 15 (or more) gigabytes for linux. What size you choose is not so important, just so long as you have enough room for a running OS. (Hence the 15gb minimum. That'll fit Ubuntu and a nice selection of additional programs.)

@ KloroFormed: I started the morning with Arch, then went to Zenwalk, SuSe, Debian, then back to Arch. :/ I've decided tonight though that I'm going back to Gentoo, and staying there. I used it for several months a little while ago, and for me, that's a long time for a linux distro. Must say something for Gentoo, right? )

Great idea. The print screen key will pop up a little box, and Ubuntu should already have internet access. SHOULD.

I'm currently using Sabayon, which is Gentoo-based.

Thread Starter
My installer has been stuck at "Starting up the partitioner" forever, I have restarted this installer so much it's all out of whack.

It's late and I am tired, I am just going to bed. I will post in this thread tomorrow with more partition questions and hopefully some pictures. Thanks for all of the help, guys.
