The X2900XT is better but the GTS is better value and dosnt suck........ lawl

There are no accurate benchmarks at this time so there is really no way to tell

Early benchies show them about even although neither one's (dx10) drivers are anywhere near mature

yeah but it still beats a GTS. And owns a gts with early drivers(pull up some benches with early drivers) by a longshot so if preformance goes like the 8800's did with newer drivers the XT is a winner

GTS 640 because its better value, has more memory, it has a better architecture and if your not using like super hi resolutions it has higher average FPS than the XTX. And w/ the drivers getting better and better + they are "more mature" than the HD 2900XT's its better now, and it will continue to be. It also doesn't take like 225 watts lawl.

I would not say it owns a GTS. 2-3 fps isn't considered "owning". I would say get the GTS and screw the XT.
