Most girls would use windex or something, which ruins the monitor overtime.

Damp paper towel or you can buy "LCD cleaners" anywhere, like at best buy. Just make sure they work on LCDs it should say on the box.

Dont use paper towels they scratch the screen. Dilute some 90% rubbing alcohol with distilled water and use a lint free smooth cloth.

Distilled water (Pure H20) with a microfiber cloth... (I think all microfiber cloths are lint free, as they are primarily used for cleaning lens)

Don't push if you can; it actually damages one of the parts on your LCD, and you might be able to see them while the monitor is on, too, which is annoying. Instead, I've found that lightly rubbing back and forth is best, occasionally using a tad of the distilled water, applied on the microfiber cloth.
