Weird pc beeps

When turning on the pc it only sometimes goes to the post screen, but most of the time it just beeps real loud long beeps over and over and no post, or no windows just beeps from the pc, any idea how to correct this?

Sounds like RAM.

I had my DFI board (also Intel 975X chipset) doing the same, and yep... a dead RAM stick.

Pull out one stick of RAM... try again. If beep, then the other stick.

See if that works.

Good call Choz. A regular repeating long single beep is a memory error. Do as Choz said.
