24-Bit and 7.1 doesn't mean much in sound cards, especially since CD quality music is 16-Bit stereo format and I doubt majority of people own a 7.1 setup. There is a big difference in sound quality regarding the DAC, OPAMPs, chipset, outputs, caps, etc.

Yeah, but 24bit DVD audio at 96KHz owns.
