Going to be building a new computer for my dad, based off my parts from my AMD FX-62 rig once the motherboard comes back from RMA.

CPU: FX-62 2.8 GHz
Motherboard: DFI LanParty UT NF590 SLI
Memory: Mushkin Redline DDR2 1000
Case: Cooler Master Centurion 5 $49.99
Power Supply: PC P&C Silencer 610 $199.99 (-$50 instant)
Video Card: EVGA 8800 GTS 320 MB $289.99
Hard Drive: 2x Seagate 7200.10 320GB $79.99 ($159.98)
Heatsink: Thermaltake Big Typhoon $52.99

Total: $702.91

I'm pretty sure I can shave off some $$, especially on the PSU. But, I don't know much about PSU's

Why AMD? Just curious and wondering why you didn't choose to go the C2D pathway.

Cause I already have the FX-62/Mobo/Ram from my first build, but switched to C2D when the motherboard went out. Waiting on the RMA on that.

Could always sell the Motherboard/CPU and go C2D, but that's an easy change
