Hey Guys,

I got my new E6600 today and I'm just wondering if L634F520 is a good stepping?

What would I expect to get on this chip?

Thanks Guys

From the stepping overclocks guide, the only one for a 34F stepping:

L634F laluckaryves 3.4ghz@1.45

That's their max.

yes one person was unable to go past that, so it must be the best anyone can do! i think everyone puts way to much faith in other peoples results.

you need at least 10 people with consistent results to get an idea, and thats not even much

Well, Mad, the 680i should be better for it, yeah. But I don't think you're going to get much past 3.4 Ghz, as Ihatethedukes said, the older F steppings (excluding the 29F) are worse.

the stepping only gives you a ballpark figure, even a "bad" week stepping could be a great overclocker and vice versa, the listing here only gives an idea of what might be good. Btw, once you do OC it, post your clock and your vcore(set and measured) and I'll add it to the list
