USB ports messed up? Tried a PS/2 keyboard?
Have you tried a USB Keyboard if you've been using PS2 keyboards? Or vice versa? Try multiple USB slots as well. There also might be a USB Keyboard setting in your BIOS that got disabled.

If the keyboard works fine...

Turn off the option to check for keyboard/mouse errors in the bios. It should be in the first section.

Just change it to [No Errors]

Have you tried PS2 AND USB keyboards, as well as every USB slot available?

Usually this happens to me on a new build.

The BIOS will be set up to only read a PS/2 keyboard until the OS boots, then it'll read USB.

Usually to fix this requires booting with a PS/2 keyboard, enter BIOS, then find an option to either turn USB keyboard recognition on or switch USB Keyboard from OS to BIOS.

Might be your prob, might not be. Worth a try though.

PS/2 detection may have been disabled in the BIOS. Find a USB keyboard and try.
