Once you have watercooling, you can build a real TEC system for about $150-200 more. A real TEC system can get your load temps around -10C to 10C. This CoolIT system can get your load temps around 10C over ambient. pwned.
Once again...

Phase is not a beginers item to be jumping on since damged or killed items cpu and/or mobo can easily occour if not installed or insulated rite.

As for the 'coolit' loop you can easily build a killer custom w/c loop for $400 most custom loops with a gpu cooled run $200-250.

How do you insulate a phase change? Just the cpu contact area right?

Just picked up a 120.3. Gonna mount it horizontally on top of my case, attaching it with 8 spacers and screws.

If i recall on the 775 intel socket you dont need di-electiric greece on the pins but needed it around the socket, have to insulate the board with usually a foam and/or cork to prevent, condensation from forming, since water from condensation due to the sub 0 temps + electical components=dead items fast if not done correctly.

Sub-ambient temperatures will cause condensation.

In addition to foam, you need to spray conforming silicone as well.
