XFX, easier to give them a dead card back as a result of o.c'ing =]

Welcome to the online home of overclocking =]

I always go for the cheapest vendor of whatever card I'm looking for, so long as their gurantee covers at least 3 years. There's no way that I'm ever going to be useing the same card for any longer than that for how often I upgrade. All the cards are made in the same facilities anyway, its just a case of the different vendors slapping on their own HSF or sticker.

thanks for the welcome guys, I've been a member for a while but haven't posted.

I play on the css OCN server for gun game.

Thanks for the help. Im probably going to go for the XFX card because of what you guys said about it being able to replace dead cards from over clocking which I plan on doing. Ill post my system once its built... I've got a bunch of boxes sitting next to me I just don't have vid cards

maybe ill play you sometime when my new rig is built
(8-9 months time)
and, you know, a vid card may come in handy

Kindest regards.

Lifetime warranty really doesn't mean much w/ computer components. Most components after about 3 years are junk anyway and can be replaced for next to nothing if you really want to (look at P4s, you can buy em for like $50 now). So that's pretty much just a gimmick.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned evga's stepup program. If anything, that has a lot more value then the warranty.

EVGA or BFG

had them both, although I only had to RMA with BFG and that was an easy experience!

eVGA or XFX are definatly the best

EVGA>All
Nothing can beat their warranty or their step up program. If EVGA were to increase their step up program to 6 months..........
