wow, how are you getting such great temps? that cooler isn't even rated to do that good with that kind of voltage, are you using the stock fan??

I think ill just stick with 3.8, I wont bother going higher, no reason too. Whats the E6600's safe Vcore?

if you haven't touched anything but your vcore RAM and fsb, you need to change your PCIe to 100Mhz

if its on AUTO that is most likely keeping you from oc'ing any higher...tho 3.8 may just be your max...i would still try the PCIe at 100mhz..

good luck

You arn't using speedfan to monitor your temps are you?

Because if you are its going to be about 15C lower then your normal temps most likely.

Download CoreTemp. Your temps seem way to low.

I aint buying this. Those temperatures are way too low for an E6600 @ 3.8Ghz. I was running my system only 50Mhz lower and the temperatues were dangersously high even, with my Tuniq Tower. I'm sceptical about this overclock as you say you've only raised FSB and CPU vCore.

Either way, I'd suggest increaseing your PCI-Express frequency to about 115 to 118. On some motherboards the graphics card wont display any output once you raise the main bus past a certain point. In cases like this you simply increase the frequency of the PCI-Express a ittle, though be sure to not go over 118. Also, start raiseing NorthBridge vCore as the MCH is going to need the extra volts to maintain communication between the CPU and RAM at higher bus speeds.

yeah thats pretty high, what stepping cpu do you have

oh and any screen shots would be really cool

as far as your last jump your going to have to adjust the Sb voltage more then likely and NB (vmch) may need some more voltage also

theres something thats not being stable at the higher speed, try going up in bits like 430x9 435/440/445.... and see where it actually stops posting or becomes unstable
