Ah, makes sense. My comment was mostly meant for the other three posts anyhow.

ok for one ocz and ddr were some of the two best words you could put together

in the ddr ram i had rev 2's that would do 290fsb with 2.5 cas and some of ocz 1gb sticks that would do 265 cas3 1t and 270 2t, this was on a amd system, so dont say some useless info when you had a bad experience with one set of ram

as for the post with the pic if that is indeed your oc then your running at ddr2 1200 or 600mhz per cpuz, if that is jsut a pic that you put up for example then can you post some pics of cpuz and also memset so we can see all your timings

thanks

That was not his screenshot, it was kindredice's and he was referring to a review. First, why do you have to unplug and wait overnight? Simply clear cmos (remove battery from mobo) and you are ready to start fresh.

Second, run memtest86 (link below) at stock, put all settings on auto. If memtest runs successfully then you need to loosen the timings as far as possible before pushing it to 600mhz. Once you reach the desired speed, then start tightening the timings.

If memtest fails at stock, then you know you have a bad module (test both modules together if they are dual channel - rma'ing one will require that you rma the second as well since they are disigned to work together).

Also, I would boot into memtest and check the accuracy of the ram at that speed before checking stability in windows.

Last, what are temps like inside your case? This is important when you are putting 2.2+ volts to the modules. More voltage = heat and combine that with ambient temps inside case...

OCZ does NOT suck.

My ram can do 1200mhz on 2.15v, and only cost $140.

Also, the warranty covers voltage up to 2.4, so you can OC all you want if you stay below that voltage.
